Huernia transvaalensis (also called Transvaal Huernia, among many other common names) is a succulent perennial native to South Africa. It has long, narrow, lanceolate leaves that are usually green in color. It grows in open, sunny areas in the temperate and subtropical regions of South Africa.

The flower of Huernia transvaalensis is a small, white, five-petaled flower with a yellow center. The seed is a small, dark brown, oval-shaped seed. The seedlings are small, oval-shaped, and dark green in color.
