Description
Gonolobus marginatus (also called Margined Milkweed, among many other common names) is a perennial herb native to Mexico and Central America. It has a woody stem, and grows up to 1 m tall. Its leaves are simple, alternate, and lanceolate in shape, and its flowers are small, yellow, and fragrant. It is found in tropical and subtropical dry and moist forests.

Cultivation and Propagation
Gonolobus marginatus can be propagated by division of the clumps, or by seed. It is best grown in full sun or partial shade, in moist but well-drained soil. It is tolerant of a wide range of soils, and can be grown in containers.
