Description

Asclepias foliosa (also called Leafy Milkweed, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant that grows up to 1m in height. It is native to the southwestern United States and Mexico. It is commonly found in dry, sandy, or rocky soils in open woodlands, prairies, and meadows.
