Amsonia repens (also called Spreading Blue Star, among many other common names) is a perennial herb that grows up to 30 cm tall. It is native to the southeastern United States, and is found in moist woodlands and meadows. It has blue flowers and its leaves are linear to lanceolate, with a length of 2-7 cm and a width of 1-3 cm.
