Guatteria tomentosa (also called Tomentosa, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree that is native to Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador. It typically grows to a height of up to 10 m and has alternate, elliptic to oblong-elliptic leaves. It is found in tropical rainforests and montane forests.
