Description

Guatteria flabellata (also called Fan-shaped Guatteria, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Annonaceae family, native to Colombia. It is an evergreen tree growing to 15 m tall, with a trunk up to 40 cm diameter. The leaves are elliptic to obovate, 8–15 cm long and 4–8 cm broad, glossy green above, paler and dull below. The flowers are white, 1.5 cm diameter, with four petals and numerous stamens.
