Description
Zingiber citrinum (also called 'Lemon Ginger', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Zingiberaceae family, native to India and Sri Lanka. It is a perennial herbaceous plant, growing to a height of 1.2 m (4 ft). It has yellow-green stems and lanceolate leaves. It is found in moist, shady areas in tropical and subtropical regions.
