Description

Hedychium coccineum (also called 'Scarlet Ginger Lily', among many other common names) is a herbaceous perennial native to India, Sri Lanka, and the Andaman Islands. It grows in evergreen forests, and is characterized by its leaves with a pointed tip and its yellowish-white flowers.
