Description

Encephalartos tegulaneus (also called the dwarf cycad, among many other common names) is a species of cycad native to South Africa. It is a small cycad with a single stem, up to 1 m tall, and a crown of up to 4 leaves. Its leaflets are lanceolate, up to 25 cm long and 1 cm wide. It is found in coastal forest and grassland habitats.
