Vochysia thyrsoidea (also called Thyrsus-like vochysia, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Vochysiaceae family. It is an evergreen shrub, growing up to 8 m tall. It is native to the Amazon rainforest in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. It is found in tropical moist lowland forests, tropical moist montane forests, and wet premontane forests.
