Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Vochysia laurifolia has small, yellow flowers with five petals. Its seeds are small, round and black. Its seedlings have long, narrow leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Vochysia laurifolia can be propagated from seed or from cuttings. Seeds should be sown in a well-draining medium and kept moist until germination. Cuttings should be taken from the current season's growth and should be planted in a well-draining medium. Once the seedlings or cuttings are established, they should be transplanted to a larger pot or in the ground.
