Description

Qualea insignis (also called Qualea insignis, among many other common names) is a shrub native to South America. It grows up to 4 m tall and has a spreading habit. The leaves are elliptic, oblong and up to 10 cm long. It is found in humid forests and grasslands, at altitudes of up to 1,500 m.
