Description

Citharexylum crassifolium (also called Thick-Leaved Fiddlewood, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree native to Central and South America. It grows in tropical and subtropical climates, and is often found in forests, woodlands and along rivers. It has a spreading habit and can reach up to 10 meters in height. Its leaves are thick, leathery and have a glossy texture.
