Cultivation and Propagation

Aloysia hatschbachii is a fast-growing, evergreen shrub that can reach up to 3 m (10 ft) in height. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Propagation is best done by cuttings taken in spring or summer. The cuttings should be taken from the current season's growth and should be placed in a moist, well-draining medium such as sand or perlite. Rooting hormone can be used to encourage root formation. Once the cuttings have rooted, they can be transplanted into individual pots and grown on until they are ready to be planted out.
