Description

Aloysia chiapensis (also called Lemon Verbena, among many other common names) is a shrub native to Mexico and Guatemala. It has a woody stem and produces long, thin, arching branches with many small, oblong, leathery leaves. The inflorescence is a terminal raceme with many fragrant, yellow-green flowers.
