Description
Aloysia arequipensis (also called Arequipa Aloysia, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree that can grow up to 10 m tall. It is native to Central and South America, from Mexico to Peru. It is found in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests, as well as in disturbed areas.

Aloysia arequipensis is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as a potted plant in homes. It has a unique look and is drought tolerant, making it a great choice for xeriscaping.
