Description
Pilea richardii (also called Richard's Pilea, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to tropical and subtropical Asia, Africa, and the Americas. It has a woody stem, and its leaves are ovate to lanceolate in shape. It grows in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests, as well as in disturbed areas.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Pilea richardii has small, white flowers that are arranged in clusters of three. The seeds are small and black, and the seedlings have round, dark green leaves with a white underside.
