Description
Elatostema yongtianianum (also called Yongtian Elatostema, among many other common names) is a species of perennial herb native to China. It has a single, erect stem with narrow, lance-shaped leaves. It grows in moist, well-drained soils in open areas, such as roadsides, fields, and disturbed sites.

Elatostema yongtianianum has small, white flowers with five petals. Its seeds are small and black, and its seedlings have long, slender stems with small, oval leaves.
Cultivation and Propagation
Elatostema yongtianianum is a tropical plant native to Southeast Asia. It can be grown in full sun or partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soils. Propagation is usually done by division of the rhizomes or by stem cuttings. It can also be propagated from seed, but this is not as common.
