Description
Elatostema menghaiense (also called Menghai Elatostema, among many other common names) is a species of perennial herb native to China. It has a single, erect stem with narrow, lance-shaped leaves. It grows in moist, well-drained soils in open areas, such as roadsides, fields, and disturbed sites.

Elatostema menghaiense is a tropical plant native to Southeast Asia. It can be grown in full sun or partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soils. Propagation is usually done by division of the rhizomes or by stem cuttings. It can also be propagated from seed, but this is not as common.
