Elatostema macrophllyum (also called Large-Leaved Elatostema, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to China, Taiwan, and Vietnam. It grows in moist, shady habitats, such as forests, and has large, ovate leaves with long petioles and long, narrow sepals.

Elatostema macrophllyum has white flowers with yellow centers and small, black seeds. The seedlings are small and have a single, long, slender leaf.
