Description
Ulmus mianzhuensis (also called Mianzhu Elm, among many other common names) is a small tree or shrub native to tropical forests in Central and South America. It has a dense, rounded canopy and its bark is grey-brown. It grows in humid, lowland forests and can reach heights of up to 10 meters.
Uses & Benefits
Ulmus mianzhuensis has been used as a traditional Chinese medicine to treat fever, headaches, and other ailments. It is also used as an ornamental plant in gardens.
