Ulmus elliptica (also called Rock Elm, among many other common names) is a species of elm native to Europe and western and central Asia. It is a medium-sized deciduous tree, reaching heights of up to 25 m, with a trunk up to 1 m d.b.h. It typically grows in moist soils, in open woodland and along riverbanks.
