Description
Tamarix sachensis (also called Tamarisk, among many other common names) is a deciduous shrub or small tree. It can reach up to 6 m in height and has a spreading habit. It is native to Central Asia and is found in dry and sandy habitats.

Tamarix sachensis is used as an ornamental plant, for erosion control, and as a windbreak.
