Description
Symplocos pluribracteata (also called Many-bracted Symplocos, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree, up to 8 m tall, with a trunk up to 30 cm in diameter. It is native to Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, and is found in humid montane forests at elevations of 1000-3000 m. It is a shade tolerant species.
