Sphagnum orientale (also called Oriental Bog Moss, among many other common names) is a species of moss in the family Sphagnaceae. It is a medium-sized moss, growing to a height of 2-6 cm. It is native to Asia, found in wet, acidic habitats such as bogs, marshes, and swamps.
