Solanum jabrense (also called Jabrense nightshade, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the nightshade family. It is native to Ethiopia, and is found in the Afromontane forests. It grows in moist, shady forests at elevations of 1,500–2,000 m.

Cultivation and Propagation

Solanum jabrense is an annual or perennial herb that grows up to 1m in height. It is native to South America and is found in open areas, roadsides, and disturbed areas. Propagation is by seed, which should be sown in spring or early summer. The seed should be sown in a well-drained soil and kept moist until germination occurs. Once established, the plant is drought tolerant and does not require much maintenance.
