Capsicum lanceolatum (also called 'bird pepper', 'tabasco pepper' and 'spider pepper', among many other common names) is a perennial shrub native to Central and South America. It grows to a height of 1-2 meters and has small, white flowers. It prefers warm, humid climates and is often found in tropical forests and grasslands.
