Verbascum caesareum (also called Caesar's Mullein, among many other common names) is an annual or biennial plant with a single, unbranched stem that can reach up to 1.2 m in height. It has ovate leaves and yellow flowers. It is native to the Mediterranean region and is found in dry, sunny places.
