Ameroglossum alatum (also called Ameroglossum alatum var. alatum, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Gesneriaceae family. It is a small shrub, usually reaching a height of around 1 meter. It is native to Brazil, and is found in tropical and subtropical forests. It is found in the states of Bahia and Minas Gerais.
