Description
Schistochila sciurea (also called Sciurea Schistochila, among many other common names) is a species of liverwort in the Schistochilaceae family. It is a small, yellow-green, thalloid liverwort with a creeping, branching habit. It is native to tropical Africa, and is found in humid montane forests and mossy rocks.
Cultivation and Propagation
Schistochila sciurea can be propagated by division or by seed. It can be cultivated in moist, well-drained soil in partial shade. It is best grown in a sheltered position in a rock garden or in a pot.
