Description
Schistochila compacta (also called Compact Schistochila, among many other common names) is a species of liverwort in the family Lejeuneaceae. It is found in tropical and subtropical regions of the world, including Africa, Asia, Australia, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. It grows on moist rocks and soil in shaded areas, often in association with mosses.
