Description
Melicoccus lepidopetalus (also called 'Lepidopetal Melicoccus' or 'Lepidopetal Sapindus', among many other common names) is a woody vine native to South America. It has alternate, compound leaves with 3-7 leaflets and yellowish-green flowers. It is found in tropical and subtropical regions, in open woodlands and along roadsides.

Melicoccus lepidopetalus is used as a source of fuelwood, as a source of honey, and as a source of fodder for livestock.
