Description
Arceuthobium tsugense (also called Western Hemlock Dwarf Mistletoe, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Santalaceae. It is a small evergreen shrub, growing up to 0.5 m tall. It is native to the Northern Hemisphere, from North America to Europe and Asia. It grows on coniferous trees, often in dry, sandy soils.
