Cultivation and Propagation
Tarenna sumatrensis is a fast-growing, evergreen shrub that can reach up to 10 feet in height. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Propagation is usually done by cuttings or by layering. Cuttings should be taken in spring or early summer and should be about 4-6 inches long. Layering can be done by bending a stem down to the ground and covering it with soil.
