Solenandra brachycarpa (also called 'Brachycarpa solenandra' or 'Brachycarpa solenandra shrub', among many other common names) is a shrub native to the Caribbean and Central America. It has a greyish-brown bark and its leaves are ovate-lanceolate, with a serrated margin. It is found in dry forests, scrublands, and open areas.
