Description

Psyllocarpus scatignae (also called 'Scatigna's Psyllocarpus', among many other common names) is a perennial herb native to the tropical forests of South America. It grows in wet areas such as swamps, marshes, and along the banks of streams and rivers. It has small, yellow flowers with four petals and a yellow center. The leaves are long and narrow, and the stems are covered in small hairs.
