Description
Pavetta platycalyx (also called Broad-Calyx Bride's Bush, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree, up to 5 m tall, with a dense, rounded crown. It is native to tropical Africa, from Senegal to Ethiopia, and is found in a variety of habitats, from dry savannas to evergreen forests.

Pavetta platycalyx has small, white flowers with yellow centers and small, black seeds. The seedlings are small and have thin, light green leaves.
