Palicourea nubigena (also called 'Nubigena' and 'Borojó de monte', among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree native to the Caribbean islands and Central and South America. It grows up to 10 meters in height and has glossy, dark green leaves. It is commonly found in tropical rainforests and montane forests.
