Description

Notopleura saulensis (also called Saul Notopleura, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree, usually up to 6 m tall, with a dense, rounded crown. It is native to the tropical Andes of Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela, where it grows in wet montane forests and cloud forests at elevations of 1000-3000 m.
