Hoffmannia sessilis (also called Sessile Hoffmannia, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree that grows up to 6 m tall. It is native to Central and South America, and is found in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests. It has large, bright green, ovate leaves and small, white flowers.
