Guettarda sotonunezii (also called Soto-Nunez guettarda, among many other common names) is a small shrub native to Mexico. It has a single, thin, cylindrical stem with a single leaf at its apex. It is found growing in moist, shady forests at elevations of 500 to 1,500 meters.
