Description

Guettarda malacophylla (also called 'Soft-leaved Guettarda', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Rubiaceae family. It is native to Central and South America, and is found in wet lowland forests. It is a shrub or small tree, growing up to 6 m tall, with elliptic to ovate leaves, up to 10 cm long, and white flowers.
