Description
Guettarda insularis (also called 'Island Guettarda', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Rubiaceae family. It is native to the Caribbean, and is found in dry limestone forests. It is a shrub or small tree, growing up to 6 m tall, with elliptic to ovate leaves, up to 10 cm long, and white flowers.

Guettarda insularis is a tropical shrub that can be propagated by seed or cuttings. It prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soil. It is drought tolerant and can tolerate some salt spray. Prune regularly to maintain shape and size.
