Description
Gardenia sambiranensis (also called the Sambirano Gardenia, among many other common names) is a species of flowering shrub native to Madagascar. It grows up to 3 m tall and has a dense, spreading crown. Its leaves are opposite, oblong-lanceolate in shape, and measure up to 8 cm long. It is found in dry deciduous forests and savannas.
