Gardenia resinifera (also called Resin Gardenia, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the coffee family, native to Madagascar. It is an evergreen shrub or small tree, growing up to 3 m tall, with glossy, dark green leaves and fragrant white flowers. It grows in tropical and subtropical forests, often in disturbed areas.
