Gardenia megasperma (also called Big-Seeded Gardenia, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree, up to 8 m tall, with white flowers and yellow-orange fruits. It is native to the tropical forests of Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands. It is found in lowland and montane forests, as well as in disturbed areas, from sea level to an elevation of 1,500 m.
