Cowiea philippinensis (also called Philippine Cowiea, among many other common names) is a small tree or shrub native to Southeast Asia. It has a rounded crown and a short trunk with a yellowish-brown bark. The leaves are alternate, simple, and ovate-lanceolate. It is found in tropical and subtropical forests, as well as in wet and dry forests.
