Description

Coussarea tortilis (also called Tortilis Coussarea, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Rubiaceae family. It is an evergreen shrub that grows up to 2 m tall, with a trunk diameter of up to 10 cm. It is native to Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. It is found in tropical and subtropical moist montane forests.
