Coussarea rudgeoides (also called 'Rudge's Coussarea', among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree, usually growing up to 5 m tall, native to Central and South America. It has a smooth, gray bark and its leaves are alternate, simple, ovate, and have a pointed tip. It is found in lowland and hill forests, as well as in disturbed areas.
