Description
Cinchona calisaya (also called Peruvian bark, Jesuit's bark, and calisaya bark, among many other common names) is a species of tree native to tropical and subtropical regions of South America. It is an evergreen tree growing up to 15 m tall, with a straight trunk and a rounded crown. It grows in moist, shady areas such as riverbanks and damp forests.
